Santiago Mercado passed away on July 29th, 2012 at the age of 86 in Oceanside California. Santiago is the beloved husband of the late Maria Elena nee, Cortez. Loving father of Josephine (Ermelindo) Vasquez, Late Santiago Jr., Maria (Carlos) Rodriguez, Diana Mercado, Robert (Rachael) & Ricardo (Marichu). Dear grandfather of 19 and great grandfather of 13. Fond brother of 15 & is uncle to many nieces & nephews. Services for Santiago will be on Monday, August 6th at 10:00 A.M. at the Sourek & Sons Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th St, Cicero and process to Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL. Visitation will be on Saturday August 4th and Sunday August 5th from 2 to 9 P.M. For information call 708-652-6661
