Andrew M. Krupczak, Jr., age 68, passed away peacefully with friends by his side on Saturday evening, March 14, 2026 after a battle with cancer. Born deaf and mute on April 17, 1957 in Chicago, he was the only beloved son of Andrew, Sr. and Dolores (nee Ryske) Krupczak. He was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles.
A lifetime resident of Cicero, Andy excelled as an expert electrician and with this learned gift, helped friends and family every chance he could. He had a very big heart and a great sense of humor. Andy was a loyal friend and a gentle, thoughtful man. Though quiet, he had a remarkable gift for noticing the details that mattered most to the people around him. He enjoyed eating out and made many local restaurants his second home, while he enjoyed the company of friends.He is survived by many close friends and “family” who will miss him dearly, along with cousins Paul Ryske and Robert Ryske. He will be remembered for his kind heart, caring nature and his warm smile.Visitation will take place at Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th Street, Cicero on Friday, March 20, from 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 3010 S. 48th Court.
