Arturo Gomez

Arturo Gomez, 64, of Guerrero, Mexico, left us, surrounded by family on June 22, 2022, after losing his battle with cancer. Arturo, also known as Nacho by his dear friends and family, lived a full and warm life, full of joy even after battling four different cancers in the last 19 years. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. He is survived by his loving wife, 4 children, mother, siblings, and friends. Those who knew Nacho knew he would do anything for his friends and family. He made everyone that knew him to laugh over his silly stories and cheesy jokes. He also loved to cook, and garden, and was a faithful fan of European soccer. Our family is grateful to know that Nacho is finally at peace. Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2022, from 3:00 to 6:30 pm at Sourek Funeral Home, 5645 35th St, Cicero, IL 60804.
