Dennis John Pencak

Dennis J. Pencak, 76, lifelong resident of Cicero died on December 18, 2019.

Dennis was a longtime employee at Continental Can Co./White Cap Division, a self-employed roofer, U.S. Army veteran, a brilliant handyman, a superb home cook, and a star athlete at Morton East High School. His hobbies were fishing, working on cars, watching old western movies and football, caring for his fish tank, growing his garden, maintaining his home and most of all, watching his grandchildren grow up.

He is survived by his wife Kathleen Pencak (nee Stelmaszek); his children Brian (Vicki) Pencak, and Karen (Norman) Vail; his grandchildren Alyssa, Ella, Lily, and Ian; and his siblings Rita (late Ken) Lox, Kenneth (Rose) Pencak and Marilyn (Ray) Kabat. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews and many friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2020 from 9am to noon at Sourek Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th Street in Cicero. A memorial mass will be held at 12:30pm at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, 3010 S. 48th Court in Cicero with private interment in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
