Elisa Lopez, age 66 passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Mount Sinai Hospital, Chicago, Illinois. Loving daughter of Evangelina and the late †Ramón López: cherished mother of: Lorena (Artemio) González, Linda Hernández (Daniel Aragón) and Roberto Rojas (Maritsa García). Fond grandmother of 17; great-grandmother of 8; dear sister of Ramona, Rosa (Floyd Wilson †), Ramón Jr. and Jaime López. Elisa loved her oldies, was proud of growing up in Pilsen, a parishioner of St. Procopius Church. Elisa will be missed by her family and friends. Visitation: Sunday, June 27, 2021at Sourek Funeral Home 5645 West 35th Street, Cicero, Illinois 60804 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service: Monday, June 28, 2021 family and friends will gather for Funeral Mass Celebration of Life at 10:00 am at St. Procopius Church, 1200 West 18th Street (Corners of 18th Street and Allport Street). Burial will be Private. You can only have one mother, patient, kind and true; No other friend in all the world, will be the same to you. When other friends forsake you, to mother you will return. For all her loving kindness, she asks nothing in return. As we look upon her picture, sweet memories we recall of a face so full of sunshine, and a smile for one and all. Sweet Jesus, take this message, to our dear mother up above.
