Feliksa Barabasz

Feliksa Barabasz (nee Anczarska) passed away on January 14, 2021 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late Walter; dearest daughter of the late Pawel and Anna (nee Gora); loving sister of the late Ignac (Irene) Anczarski, Krystyna (Ed) Wlodarczyk, and Wanda (Sandy) McCulloch. Mother of Christine (John) Flasza and the late Steven Walter Barabasz. Grandmother of Steven and Kevin Flasza, cherished aunt, fond cousin and friend of many including Rysia Wojcicka, her caregiver of 12 years. Feliksa was a kind and gentle woman so full of life. She had an infectious energy and loved to cook, clean, entertain and do whatever she could to help her family. Feliksa passed down an unwavering commitment to family that will keep us close and showed what is important in life. She met her dementia with ferocity 20 years ago and continued to only up the fight over and over as time moved forward and the losses became greater. Feliksa leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories. A visitation will be on Monday, January 18th from 3 to 8 p.m. also on Tuesday, January 19 from 9 -11 a.m. at The Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th St, Cicero.
