James Peter Grippando

James Peter Grippando 1954 – 2021 James Peter Grippando, age 66, died peacefully on Sunday, June 20, 2021, surrounded by his loving family after giving the fight of his life to NSC Lung Cancer. Beloved husband of Susan (nee Provost) of 42 years, loving father of Nicholas James Grippando (partner John Perkins), Alyssa Rose (Oscar) Maldonado, cherished Papa of granddaughters Penelope Rose and Mila Grace Maldonado; dearest son of the late Peter and late Rose (nee Marando) Grippando, dear brother of the late Jacqueline (Frank) Moravec, Carmella (Tom) Jankowski, and Stephanie Grippando“fond son-in-law of James (late Roberta) Provost”, fond brother-in-law of Joanne (Phil) Michaud, Carol (Tim) McClelland; uncle to many. Jim was a dedicated family man. He loved to take walks and go to playgrounds with his grandbabies. Jim was in transportation for many years. He was given many safe driving awards/accolades during his tenure. He enjoyed tending to his lawn, tinkering around the garage and washing his cars; watching old western movies; getting together with friends; eating a good homemade Italian meal, and catching up with the neighbors.
