Jean Nowaczyk

100 year old Jean Nowaczyk was born on October 30, 1922, as God’s great gift of love. She passed away peacefully at home just short of her 101st birthday. Jean is preceded in death by her compassionate husband, Floyd. Jean was the loving mother of Philip and Gregory (Carol). Cherished Grandmother of Janelle, Dennis (Jennifer), and Matthew (Alexandria). Caring Great Grandmother of Stella and Lucy. Beloved daughter of the late Stanley and late Mary Mozdzierz, nee Kmiec. Loving sister of the late Joseph (late Josephine) Mosses, late Frank (late Lottie) Moses, late Victoria (late Joseph) Patrylak, late Julia (late Charles) Connelly, late Alfred (late Irene) Mozdzierz, late Irene (late Bruno) Nowabilski, late Edward (Theresa) Mozdzierz and Walter (late Barbara) Mozdzierz. Fond Sister-in-law of the late Louis (late Maryann) Nowak, late Jean (late Walter) Gad, late Cecilia (late Edward) Partyka, and Genevieve (William) Mehler. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

Jean made the world a better place with her faith, kindness and generosity, her fervent prayers, and the power of her love of God and family. She will be forever missed and affectionately remembered.

Visitation for Jean will be on Thursday, October 19th from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Sourek Manor Funeral Home, located at 5645 W. 35th St., Cicero. On Friday, October 20th the visitation will be at the funeral home from 8 to 9 a.m. and process to St. Mary of Czestochowa Church for 9:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice IL.
