Jose Clemente Zaucedo

Jose “Pops”Clemente Zaucedo Sr., aged 84, passed away on April 16,2025 surrounded by his family. Born on November 23,1940 in Corpus Christi, Texas, Pops lived a life devoted to service and family.

As a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Pops served his country with honor and integrity. After his military career, he became a mechanic, dedicating 40 years of his life to his line of work. Then focusing his time on family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pops had a passion for fishing, traveling, music, books, and positive outlook on life. Pops advice was sought by many, and his calm presence was a source of comfort to all who knew him.

He is survived by his lovely wife of 63 years, Maria, his children, Jose Jr. (Nina), Sandy (predeceased Michael), Sammy (Lucy), Monica, Guadalupe (Hector), beloved grandchildren Patricia (Abel), Andrew (Edith), Michael, Eric, Amanda, Ignacio, great grandchildren Jose, Luis, Julian, Julian, and a host of family and friends. Jose’s legacy of service, humility, and compassion will continue to inspire all who knew him.
