Kenneth "Tony" Menconi

August 18, 1942 — December 24, 2022

Kenneth "Tony" Menconi of Plainfield, IL, passed away on December 24, 2022 at the age of 80. United States Air Force veteran. Loving husband of the late Judith. He is survived by Anthony J. (Karolina) Menconi and Michael A. Menconi. Loving grandfather to Kalina and Alexander. He is preceded in death by his brothers Rick & Ozzie Menconi.

Tony was a successful business owner and job recruiter in the computer data and technologies industry for over 40 years.
With his entrepreneurial spirit and his love of Tennis he also had endeavors in professional tennis player management. Tony hosted and produced professional sporting events that allowed him the privilege of traveling the world.
Tony would do anything for his family and friends. He had the “gift of gab” and was always a very proud and supportive father for his kids. Tony loved taking his kids to many concerts and sporting events. He loved a good war movie and Bond, James Bond… Tony was a devoted Chicago Bears fan.

Tony’s family would like to give a special mention of thanks for the outstanding quality of care received over the years by the doctors and medical staff of the Edward Hines Jr VA Hospital in Hines, IL.

A service for Tony will be on Friday, February 3rd, promptly at 10:30 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, located at 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421. A full military honors salute will be conducted by the United States Air Force. Attendees are asked to arrive in the staging area of Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery by 10:15 a.m., before processing to the pavilion for the honors.
