Lorraine Dugo

Lorraine was the faithful wife of the late Anthony “Tony”, loving mother of Jean Maria, the daughter of the late Maurice and late Ella Carloni and aunt to numerous nieces and nephews.

Lorraine retired from her 26-year phone marketer position to enjoy time doing things she loved, spending time with her family, gardening, feeding the birds and squirrels and most of all spoiling her grand dog(s). In addition, Lorraine loved doing crossword puzzles, reading tabloid magazines and was often found immersed in a good book about her favorite furry friends.

Lorraine was a devoted wife and mother and friend whose kindness touched everyone who knew her. She was caring and generous, always putting others before herself. She lived her faith daily through her deep devotion to the Rosary.

Lorraine will be remembered for her whole-hearted, beautiful smile that filled a room with light and love. In her later years, Lorraine lived with dementia, but it never erased the love she gave.

With profound love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Lorraine Dugo. Born November 2, 1932, and passed away on July 7, 2026. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sourek Funeral Home, 5645 W. 35th St, Cicero, IL, 60804. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St Anthony Catholic Church, 1510 S 49th Ct, Cicero, IL 60804. Entombment will be held at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.
