Rita Ann Gobernatz, nee : Hickey passed away on January 5, 2018 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Howard. Loving mother of Thomas (Nancy), John (Mona) and Julie (late Robert) Suwalski. Dear grandmother of Joseph (Mara), Carolyn (Pat) Fitzgerald, Cheryl (Rob) Jones, Daniel, Joseph Suwalski, Pvt. William Suwalski USMC, Robert Suwalski and Grace Gobernatz. Great grandmother of Reilly, Kelsey and Dan Fitzgerald, Charlotte, Anabel, Violet and Joseph Gobernatz, Robert and Hildegard Jones. Visitation for Rita will be held on Friday, January 12th from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W 35th St, Cicero. Services will start on Saturday, January 13th at 9:45 a.m. and process to St. Pius X Church in Stickney, IL for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL.
