Rose Strejc

Rose Marie (green) strejc, age 65 of cicero Illinois. She passed away peacefully with family by her side at mc Neal hospital on August 26th 2021 at 3:33 pm. Her death was preceded by her father otto green and her husband Robert h strejc of 26years before his death. Rose was survived by mother- marie isaacson Son- Tony green Daughter- Katrina strejc Venegas Grandchildren- Jenna maree Esmariah rose Bronx Robert Honorary grandchildren Karina Venegas Natalia Venegas Jade Ramos Nicholas roque Aaliyah Venegas Savanah Sandoval Joziah Soto Sisters- Diane green Linda accardo Norma (billy) porter Doris (David) hatton Cynthia (Dennis) mrowca Carol (Donald) cepican And many nieces and nephews Rose was born in jasper Alabama on February 22nd 1956 and grew up in the heart of Chicago with her mom and sisters. Throughout her life Rose spent a lot of time with her beloved dogs and her grandchildren. She was loved by many and anyone that held a special place in her heart came first. When others needed support and guidance she was there to see them through. She loved to garden and would spend time caring for the elderly. No water bottles ever reached a landfill because rose was an avid recycler and never wanted anything to go to waste. One of her hobbies included writing poetry and her favorite quote was “Sacrebleu! I love you!”. She loved to rhyme and entertained many with her jokes. A Wife, a mother, or a grandma too, this is the legacy we have from you. you taught us love and how to fight, you gave us strength, you gave us might. a stronger person would be hard to find, and in your heart you were always kind . You fought for us all in one way or another, not just as a wife not just as a mother. for all of us you gave your best, now the time is come for you to rest. so go in peace, you’ve earned your sleep. your love in our hearts well eternally keep.
