Victoria, also known as Vickie, was a very kind and caring person. She was a caretaker at heart and always put everyone before herself. She was a very strong person in the eyes of her family and friends and always someone to have been able to create great memories with. Victoria was mostly known as “Grandma,” even when she became a great grandmother her name was just “Grandma”. She did everything with and for her grandkids. She was the number one fan during cheer, number one supporter in school accomplishments, and always so proud of everything her grandkids had achieved. Victoria taught her grandkids everything she can ever teach them from learning how to drive to watering the plants correctly - the bond with her grandkids is unbreakable. Victoria was survived by her sister Olivia, husband David, kids Carlos and Olivia, and all her grandkids and great grandkids. Victoria is now at peace and reunited with her parents, siblings, and son Rene. Victoria fought and beat cancer twice and that was because of her warrior spirit. We are saddened that her life was taken so soon but nevertheless she lived a wonderful life full of unforgettable memories that will live on forever. She will always be in our hearts and live through us. A visitation for Victoria will be held on Saturday, November 20th from 3 to 8 p.m. at The Sourek Manor Funeral Home, 5645 W 35th St. Cicero. Cremation is private. For more information call The Sourek Manor Funeral Home at 708-652-6661.
